DESCRIPTION


This is a deep immersion into the Science of Self practices that include: asana/postures  (both Hatha Vinyasa and Meridian based Yoga) as well as Pranayama/Breathing, the meaning and practice of Gayatri and other Mantra, Physical/Energy Anatomy including a comparison of meridians and nadis, Introduction to Acupressure for Yogis, Kriyas and purification, Tantric philosophy, meditation and kirtan.  Each day will include morning Master class and afternoon meridian based asana.

Rose Erin Vaughan

Rose Erin Vaughan, MSAc, is an experienced Classical Yoga Teacher and Acupuncturist specializing in Myofascial Trigger Point and the Science of Meridians. For over 15 years, she has worked in a variety of settings including integrative medicine, sports medicine, aesthetics, classical Yoga, and devotional chanting. Her primary interest is on how the emotions affect pain patterns, aging, and overall well-being. Using the Science of Meridians combined with the techniques and theory of Hatha Yoga, she has developed a new approach to Yoga for all levels - beginner to advanced. She came to NYC over a decade ago to study with Chant Master Bhagavan Das and has also studied thousands of hours with Master Yogi Dharma Mittra and other renowned masters. She is dedicated to understanding and addressing the physical and emotional conditions of our modern culture. Originally earning a BS in Cell Biology from Wake Forest U, she combines her knowledge of science with her devotion to yoga, embodied anatomy, and herbs.
